INTERESTED IN JOINING THE BAND? New members are always welcome. Experienced pipers and drummers as well as new pipers and drummers are encouraged to consider band membership.
JOINING THE BAND Membership in the Palm Beach Pipes & Drums is by audition and vote of the members. If you are an experienced piper or drummer and would like more information about joining the band, please contact Pipe Major Jon Dipert. Use the email option on the web site.
FREE INSTRUCTION The band provides free piping and drum instruction on Wednesday evenings. Piping classes are under the direction of Pipe Sergeant Bill Paul. Drum Sergeant John Mills directs drum instruction. Please use the email option on the web site if you are interested in either class or would like more information. Piping students are expected to provide their own chanter and instruction book; drum students must provide their own practice pad and sticks. Practice is at Forest Hill High School, Forest Hill Blvd., West Palm Beach, Fl.
